Holistic Writing Program

The Words & Bodyworks Holistic Writing Program engages the mind, body and spirit to enhance and inform the writing process. This unique approach blends traditional workshop methodologies with holistic techniques like journaling and meditation to maximize each attendee's creative potential.

Program offerings include a variety of on-site workshops and classes and off-site retreats and excursions. Example workshops include A Holistic Approach to Fiction and Journaling for Wellness. The program includes workshops for both literary and therapeutic writing designed for new and existing writers, professional writers, those who write as a hobby, and non-writers. Some workshops that focus on the more therapeutic aspects of writing may be open to everyone, depending on the theme.
