OPEN POSITIONS Massage Intern Needed ASAP We are seeking an insured Massage Therapy Intern who wishes to gain hands-on experience and expand their knowledge of therapeutic massage. Internships are 12 weeks long for 12 hours per week. Hours worked are flexible. We will work with your school for credit and you keep all of your tips. A permanent position may be offered to the successful intern. Our goal is to train you in every aspect of the massage therapy business. Your duties will include, but are not limited to: - Performing a variety of massage modalities. Extra training provided. - Performing marketing and social media duties - Scheduling/rescheduling appointments - All aspects of client interaction - All aspects of paperwork and receiving payment from client - Other duties as assigned Intern requirements: - Graduated from or are completing an accredited massage therapy program - Must have reliable transportation - Be insured through school or have private liability insurance - Be trained in Swedish and Deep-tissue - Have a professional attitude and demeanor - Be motivated and have an excellent work ethic - Be self-directed Please email your resume and cover letter to rebekah@wordsandbodyworks.com.
