About your facilitators:
Writing Instructor: Christina Deka will be graduating with an MFA in Creative Writing from Chatham University in December, 2011. At Chatham she studied fiction and the teaching of creative writing. She is interested in magical realism, fairy tales, feminism, small towns in Western Pennsylvania, and writing about the female body. She is currently teaching creative writing at the Allegheny County jail and is in the process of getting a few of her stories published. In her spare time, Christina enjoys traveling, doing yoga, and hanging out with her cat.

Holistic Facilitator: Rebekah Delling is a recent graduate of Chatham University where she completed her MFA in Creative Writing. Rebekah has been writing since the fourth grade and began her first novel in the sixth grade. In her teens and early twenties she published a few poems in small journals. In her mid-twenties she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Professional Writing and began writing articles for both print and web organizations. She has worked as a press relations specialist for Venture Outdoors, acted as Outing Editor for the Sierra Club and completed an PR/Marketing internship with local author and life coach, Lisa Spahr.
