Email us for free inclusion here and in our newsletter. __________________________________________________ Join the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank for it's..... 14th Annual Empty Bowls Dinner March 15, 2009 - Rodef Shalom Congregation The 14th Annual Empty Bowls Dinner will be held Sunday, March 15, 2009 at Rodef Shalom Congregation in Oakland from 2 pm – 7 pm. Empty Bowls is a simple meal of soup and bread that reminds us that many of our neighbors are struggling to feed their families. All proceeds benefit the Food Bank and Just Harvest. Each ticket holder chooses a ceramic bowl from among over 1,200 on display, hand made by potters, professional and amateur, from all over the area. There is also a silent auction of the "bowls of the ball," and the Celebrity Bowls Auction! Tickets for the Empty Bowls Dinner are $20.00, and are available at Just Harvest or here on the Food Bank website or by calling 412-431-8960.
